This page is a subpage of KnowledgeBasedMediaSystem and contains a summary of the comments that Frank jotted down on our printed proposal. Some of the comments are sort of ambiguous, so threat this as "just one interpretation". Anything hard to read will be prefixed with a "?".
* Frank thinks the question sheet currently handed out would be "of the visit" while it's more about general knowledge about the animals, so maybe we should make this more clear.
* In the sideline is written "individual <-> group", so maybe he would like this to be discussed in the produced paper, or he might just be confused about whether we where talking about individuals or groups of pupils in the introduction.
* Frank would like us to consistently refer to the participating children as "pupils" as opposed to "students".
* About the mini-presentations is noted: "AIM => has to contain what", which probably refers to us discussing TasksForPupils. Further there should be a discussion in the produced paper about the task model containing different media. He noted: "Task Model: -taping -> Audio <=(relation)=> Photo -> making a photo", probably urging us to discuss the relation between these different media.
* About the tutor's ability to monitor the progress of pupils: "Interaction mode different to the child => two user models?".
* He asks whether the possible presentation in the form of web pages would be automatically generated.
* Frank suggests the knowledge base could contain:
- Info about user (likes/dislikes)
- Info about animals (?Structure/Environment/Appearance/...)
- Info about the Zoo (Locations/Relations between animals)
Which is pretty much a subset of what we've already thought of. (Likes/Dislikes) confuses me though, does that have anything much to do with the proposed knowledge base and interactions?
* About the interactions with the knowledge base he noted "Interaction ?Nodes:", maybe he means "Interaction Modes:". The summation indicated by the colon is missing though, it's probably something he'd like to see discussed.
* Frank would like to see a discussion of the pro/cons of "mobile device" versus "ubiquitous access to the knowledge base at stations throughout the zoo".
* Concerning the last paragraph he notes: "Mix of devices? Access to the knowledge base ?shuiiurs (what does a student have to know) -> ?gupluc/NLP" Frank stated that these last two (NLP and ?) are methods/frameworks/languages in which to implement this.
Incidentally, this section is accompanied by two +s, indicating that the outline was very well done.
* The only comment is "?Archive!", which apparently concerns the entire section.
* The only comment is "Knowledge representation!", concerning the second paragraph.
